Red eye Shany Palette

On my lips I used NYX moisture lipstick in boysenberry and added a touch of deep brown eyeshadow to the center of my bottom lip to give them a deeper and fuller look. Surprisingly, it held well throughout the day and the moisture in the lipstick absorbed and blended with the eyeshadow perfectly. I took a chance and came out swinging! Hell ya!

On my eyes I used Shany Neon 180 color palette. I always have good things to say about this palette. The matte colors are long lasting and very pigmented and the shimmery ones apply smooth and remain sparkly with each application.. Not like other drugstore/cheap Amazon palettes where only the top layer is sparkly then you're left with flat muck shadow. I only used mac paint pot primer in nude and didn't even have to apply them wet for them to show so vibrantly. The only thing I don't like about this palette is that the hue ever so slightly does change into a deeper one as the shadow sets throughout the day. But they don't smear or dissapear which I love!

So much love,

{LOTD} using a drugstore primer additive that moisturizers and sets your makeup like a champ!

{Natural eye using the Urban Decay Naked palette, Mac gold shimmer on the inner corners and a no name purple from Shany in the outer creases.}

So I'm pretty sure I finally found an amazing and cheap way to moisturize, prime and decrease makeup creases all in one.
It also made my foundation last like no other...

I used a drop of liquid glycerine and mixed it with my primer. I mixed the two in my hand real good and let the mixture set for a sec before I applied my foundation.

I am one that is always super annoyed by my forehead wrinkles looking like they are multiplying throughout the day due to foundation shifting and settling in. I tell you what.. This technique was BOMB. The liquid glycerine had the tinest bit of stick to it (nothing like lipgloss stick that grabs your hair or anything like that, just a little tack that went away when I powdered) it just seemed to grab my foundation and stopped any unnecessary smearing. The moisture in the liquid glycerine also put off a slightly dewy finish keeping my skin looking fresh after I powdered.

If you have combination skin like me where your makeup over creases in the oily zones and cakes on the dry patches you should give this a go. I'm freakin ecstatic about it. I feel like the guy that invented Velcro or something. Hahaha
